We had rabbits in the garden before scattering Deerscram powder around the border of the garden. None have appeared since, even with heavy rains. I will apply it once more for the summer. A friend applies it directly to the plants and has had no trouble either, and she is in deer territory without a fence. I like the fact that I can scatter it and forget about the invaders. I highly recommend Deerscram

Deer Scram is the best deer repellent we have tried for protecting our landscaping in general and our Hostas in particular. We live in a wooded area where deer are a real problem. This is our third 25 lb. bucket of the stuff in as many years, and we will buy more when this is gone!

We live next to a conservative area and deer pass through our yards continuously. We just put in new landscape planting and they decided to make a complete meal of all of the new stuff. The Deer Scram seemed to ward them off and then I put in stakes at the border of all of the beds with fishing line strung across to each stake. The ground cover that they had nibbled down to the nub is now returning and I can only attribute that to the combo of the Deer Scram and the filament. I would order the 25 pound size on your first order since shipping is free from the original company. Amazon has no shipping charge period.

I was familiar with this product from commercial use on a job before I made my purchase. It worked there and now appears to be working. I was pleased to find it on line as it is not available in retail stores. As with any deer repellent, it needs to be used interchangable with other products as the deer will get used to it, and it loses its affectiveness.

This is the only thing that I have found that will keep deer out of my flower garden. The only thing is if it rains hard you will need to reapply. It will last thru several light rains. I sprinkle a 2 ft. band around the outside of my garden and they don't go in. I have LOTS of deer. It also keeps the rabbits out.
